Red dry wine “Saperavi” (vintage – 2016) produced by BATONO WINERY according to the georgian traditional winemaking method was awarded with Gold Medal at the “The 2nd International Qvevri Wine Competition”.

The 10th International Wine Award was held on June 11-12 in the framework of WinExpo 2018. Submitted wine samples were evaluated by the international jury, consisting of by renowned experts and journalists specializing in wine production. The jury was chaired by Tim Atkin, Master of Wine from UK.

The red semi-sweet wine "Kindzmarauli", produced by "Batono" company, achieved honorable place among 10 best wines.
